Our Staff

Rachel Crawshaw, MCC has a BA in Biblical Education, a Masters Degree in Christian counseling, and has been teaching the Bible for over 20 years. She applies her experience and background as she counsels parents of teens who are receiving counseling at The Way. Rachel states, "While our problems stem from a failure to reflect the image of God, I believe that there are Biblical solutions for everything that we struggle with and there are mindsets we can acquire to help us live the blessed life that God intended for each of us". Rachel also leads six small group/Bible studies throughout the year for all age women who are seeking to grow into the Captivating women that God wants them to be. Rachel is the author of Treasures and Riches (book 1 and 2) Rachel and her husband, Dale, (pastored at North Georgia Church) have four adult married children and thirteen grandchildren. 

Becca Gunyon, MCC has her Masters Degree in Christian psychology. She has been counseling teens for twenty-one years. As a pastoral counselor and parent coach, she also facilitates workshops Parenting Moment by Moment. Her background is in youth ministry, including three years on Young Life staff. "My heartbeat is to convey the compassion and tenderness of Christ in the counseling setting, in hope of total healing and restoration." She is the author of The Treasure, Choose Life to the Fullest series, Journey to His Heart. Becca and her husband, Dan, have five children/teens.

Julia Fleming has a counseling degree and specializes in counseling children. Since 2012, she and her husband Hall have been the directors of our ministry to foster children and families, The Way Home. This is a partner ministry under Lord’s Way Ministries. Julia runs trauma groups for children and counsels children/ teens in the foster care system. She has a background in youth ministry and worked for Dahlonega Crisis Pregnancy Care Center. Julia and her husband, Hall, have six children/teens. www.thewayhome.us
